Most moves in Noida today happen in group-housing societies — on the Expressway, in Sectors 75–78 and 120–121, and across Greater Noida West. Societies have their own rules, and ignoring them is the most common reason a move gets delayed at the gate.
Move-out formalities
- Dues clearance / NOC: many societies ask you to clear maintenance dues and get a move-out NOC from the facility office.
- Tenants: your landlord may need to inform the society or sign the NOC.
- Gate pass: the vehicle and crew usually need a gate pass — share the truck number and crew count in advance.
Lift booking
Service lifts are typically booked by the hour or half-day. Book early, especially at month-end. Ask if lift padding is required — we bring blankets and sheets anyway.
Timings
Many societies allow shifting only between fixed hours, and some restrict Sundays or holidays. Share these timings with your mover so packing starts early enough.
Move-in at the new society
- Register with the facility office and collect access cards.
- Confirm the parking spot for the truck near your tower.
- Check whether a refundable interior/shifting deposit is required.
